Tulsa 1921
A Look at the Tulsa Massacre

The Tulsa 1921 Massacre Traveling Exhibit takes a look at the history both before and after 1921.

The Tulsa Greenwood District, also known as " Wall Street," was nearly destroyed by a turn of events in 1921. The traveling exhibit tells a summary of the history of Greenwood before the massacre and after the rebuilding of the Greenwood District.

In January 2022, Three Rivers Museum partnered with the Tulsa Historical Society to feature the exhibit “1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.” Michelle Place, executive director of Tulsa Historical Society, produced a special presentation for us about the history surrounding the tragic event.
